AdSense Now Supporting Bahasa Indonesia

Nanda Firdausi reported promptly about Google AdSense supporting Bahasa Indonesia now, formally announced today. This is a great news for Indonesia blogger. Even AdSense is not specific to blog, it has hot market on blog’s pages.

Jeanie Santoso exposed some cool facts about Indonesia. I personally would like to suggest her (and of course Google!) to amplify this snowball effect to previous week news regarding Jakarta as one of four Asia’s cities under The Blog Belt.

There are some challenges, indeed. Money transfer to common people in Indonesia — especially from abroad — has still several problems to be solved; even Paypal has not yet supported payment for Indonesian users. But, let’s see the prospective things around: it will drive Indonesian blogger “crazier to write” dealing with the incentive; second, it also helps people getting focused on contents, instead of rushing too much approaching AdSense. By providing content in our mother language, people writes (and communicates) easier and still being fruitful to AdSense.

Oh, pardon me — I write this entry too much dealing with profit, while blogging is ideally about passion, enthusiasm, and benefit. So, terima kasih Google.

CMIIW, adsense indonesia only for search not for content meaning, as you rightly put it, “it will drive Indonesian blogger “crazier to write” Well, for the time being, however, “..in english.”

    Thank you for clarification. :-)

It is true that for now AdSense is available on search product — so, for now, bloggers have only one choice to display AdSense. However I am quiet happy to their statement that, if you manage a site in Indonesian, you can now begin generating AdSense revenue.
